GIS / SURVEY & DESIGN OFFICER

Applications are invited for a permanent full time position with Council’s Engineering Services Department. The successful applicant’s duties will be to analyse, maintain and enhance Council’s spatial data, mapping, infrastructure information and databases. The role also includes some inspection, survey and designing elements related to Council’s assets. Applicants should have previous GIS experience, ideally using MapInfo.   

The position is classified at Grade 9 of Council’s salary structure with a salary to be negotiated, ranging from $68,483.48 to $79,578.19 depending upon qualifications and experience.  Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
