Becoming an Australian Citizen
To become an Australian citizen you can apply in one of three ways:
- Online at www.citizenship.gov.au
- Telephone 131 880 or
- Visit any Australia Post.
After lodging your application, you will be required to attend an interview. Your application will then be assessed and, if approved, a certificate will be sent to Coonamble Shire Council, who will advise you of the date of a Citizenship Ceremony at its Council Chambers.
